Sailing the night away is my ideal summer! Making this block was a lot of fun, I played with colors and used some thread work to make it more colorful. Hope to make into a wall hanging. Free motion embroidery on the water to make it shimmer.

Nicely done. I was able to click on it and look at a close up. That really helps to show off the thread work. I love how it sparkles on the water, like reflecting light.
