I made this quilt to be raffled off at our family reunion this weekend.  The photos are of my grandparents when they lived on their farm in Northern New York state.  The pattern is Karen Montgomery's Picture This.  It was quilted on my longarm with a freehand stipple in the larger areas and stitch-in-the-ditch around the filmstrip and photos.

This is a wonderful way to show pictures. I have been wanting to make a quilt about movies and this is working the right side of my brain. Thanks for your inspiration.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind comments!  We raffled the quilt at our family reunion yesterday, and I won it!  I gave it to my mom to hang in her home.  Now I feel bad about winning the quilt I made, so I'll probably make another one for next years reunion!  :-D

I thought that the background fabric looked like fields so I'll have to go and buy some more of it for next years quilt before it's all gone.
