This the first real quilt I made.  I made it for my father's 82nd birthday as a lap quilt to use when watching television in the evenings.  As you can see, he put it on the bed and doesn't use it as it was intended.  It was machine pieced and stitched in the ditch.

Karla great quilt!  Dad was happy with it I can tell.  Sleeping under a quilt his little girl made must give him so much comfort and pride.

Beautiful!  Wish my dad were around to make a quilt for.   Also a great way to use up scraps.
