I made this memory quilt for one of my dad's sisters. After my dad passed away in December of "08, my aunt and uncle remodeled part of their home in order for my mother to live with them while my brother remodeled his home to make it wheelchair and handicapped accessible. Unfortunetly, my mother suffered a broken femur bone earlier this year and is now living in a nursing home.
From early 2000 until I married in April of 2008, I choose to live with my parent's and help care for my mother who suffered a brain anuryesm in September of 1999. My father passed away eight months after I got married and moved to Florida.
This wall hanging is a big thank you to all my aunt and uncle have done for my family in the last three years.
