Grandsons 18th B-day Star - June 2011

This is the log cabin diamond pattern for the star.  I designed it in EQ 7 and printed templates from there.  This is a king sized quilt with the solid red being faux suede.

Wow! What a beautiful quilt!  I love the design.  It makes me want to do another Lone Star quilt.  My first quilt was a LS done in teal and peaches - it was the 80's -  I thought I did such a fabulous job.  Now, all I want to to have it back so no one can see my work.  UHG!  I'm sure this one would turn out much, MUCH better.
