This is a quilt I made for my 6-year old grandson.  He really, really loves tractors and green is his favorite color, so the John Deere fabric was the perfect fit for him.  It is an oversized twin and was fussy cut, machine-pieced and machien quilted.  The sashing is made from his Grandpa's old levi's, so it makes it extra special to him.

The sashings are from Grandpa's old levi's? !  How WONderful!  Can't you just "hear" him telling HIS grandson about the quilt his grandma made for him?

Your grandson's quilt is wonderful.  The Levi sashing works perfectly with the backing fabric you chose.

Yes, he was a very, very happy boy.  He wouldn't even let anyone else see the quilt, let alone touch it.
