I made this bag for my daughter. This bag was made using the Mini Messenger bag pattern designed by Darci Wright in MaCall's Quilting Magizine, May 2011. The owl applique came from the pattern 'Remember Whooo Loves you' by Acorn Quilt and Gift Company. I reduced the owl applique by 50% to put on the bag. I prequilted the fabric on the outside of the bag, but left the lining unquilted. My daughter is into the owl thing now. We've seen several on really early morning walks with our dog.
