I made this toddler quilt for a charity that's giving quilts to children affected by the tornadoes in Alabama (Bama Bound Quilts).

Very bright and cheerful. Some little person is going to love this one too!

What a nice cheerful quilt.  I wonder if Project LInus is shipping any to them.  I know that we had a push for blankets and quilts after Hurricane Katrina but haven't heard anything from our new coordinators about needing any for the tornado victims.  Could be that they had enough to cover since we just had that big sew day last month.

I had contacted Project Linus about making blankets but could never get a straight answer. I would recommend checking out Bama Bound Quilts. The woman doing it is taking pictures of the kids with the quilts. They're very sweet pictures and it's nice to see the smiling kiddos that are getting the quilts!
