65" x 65"

Just the top so far.  I chose a navy blue  sheet for the back and am going to use puffy acrylic batting to giving it some loft.  The binding will be navy with some white bubble looking circles on it.

I recommend using quilt fabric for the back of the quilt.  I used a bed sheet for the backing on the first quilt I made, but I have since learned that it is not the greatest option as it is woven tighter (greater thread count) than quilting fabric.  When I don't want a seam in the middle of the backing, I just go online and order 108" backing fabric to match when I am quilting.

Marianne, I have heard the same thing about using sheets Karla mentioned.  If you still want to go with the sheet, just understand it may be more difficult for you to quilt.

Karla and Marge, thank you for the advice and info.  I have used a sheet before and had not problems - and it turned out really nice (a carmel colored sheet with little designs in it).   But now that you mention it - it was a might bit more difficult to work with.  8  )

Thank you Leslie!!!
