I joined a block of the month at our local quilt shop, you go to the first meeting you can purchase your block of fabric and pattern for $5.00. The next month you go to the store, on a specific date and time, hear about all the up and coming events in the shop and bring your completed block in from the previous month, you received another packet of fabric and pattern. If you go every month and make your new block every month, by the end of the 12 months you have a nice sized quilt and it only cost you $5.00. I used the BQ-2 pattern for setting the blocks. The fabrics in the blocks are all batiks.
