This quilt was made for our black poodle Ms. Cricket who frequents QCA's "Farm Animals Board frequently. She is said to be quite a flirt with all the boys and quite chatty! LOL. I must agree. : ) Originally I had other fabric for Ms. Cricket's quilt but it was not to be. Ms. Cricket's friends Mac and Autumn from Georgia found the Black Poodle turquoise fabric and had their Mom, Marge sent it to her. I really think Marge found it at her LQS! A huge thank you to Marge for this great fabric, which is the theme of Ms. Cricket's quilt.
Now, if it wasn't for gentle pushes from Marge, Nana, Nancy, Gini, Diane, Granny M, Kris, Marie, Stephanie, and everyone else who actually volunteered to make blocks for Ms. Cricket's quilt, I don't think this quilt would have become a reality. I always had another one that made it ahead of hers! So appropriately I named this quilt, "WIth a Little Help From My Friends." Everyone had a piece in this quilt because I also took to flight and free motioned my way to freedom on it, which I will post more on the FM board. A huge thanks to Marie! So I am sorry for the long post, but I am truly grateful for all my QCA friends, you all ROCK my WORLD. Thank you. Marlene and Ms. Cricket
