Working with batiks is one of my favorite things to do.  Started this quilt using random 2-1/2" strips from assorted batiks and charm squares I had acquired over a period of time.  Used a patriotic batik for the backing..

Simply beautiful. I've never used Batiks but after seeing your quilt, I may give them a try.

I really love using bright colors, and batiks are just made for it.
