I made Interlocking Windmills!

I made this quilt for grandson number 4! I used fat quarters for the 7 different windmill designs. I was happy to find the 'clouds' for the background.  This quilt was fun to put together.  I hand quilted it.

Neat pattern.  Did you come up with the idea yourself as I have never seen pinwheels doen this way.
