My friend Scott asked me to make a quilt for his coming grandson. He asked for black, white and red with a music theme. This music fabric had just come out, and I emailed him pictures of several things and we decided on which ones to use. The backing is Minkee--so soft, but use a thin layer of batting between Minkee and fabrics on the front--it beards! Washing helped.

My pattern was from "100 Blocks, volume 1", Angie Hodap was the designer.

I don't know which picture is nicer, the quilt or Grampa & baby.
