This project was traced onto a piece of cotton muslin and then quilted. I then used a permanent indigo pigment ink pen and colored in the quilted areas.
Very nice job
way cool. is this part of a larger piece
very different! Like it!
Thank you all for your gracious comments. This was a practice piece in which I learned the technique on. I hope to do larger pieces incorporated into an actual quilt. I have started some in hopes of completing that goal. When and if I ever finish it, I will post it here.
Wow is all I can say
I agree with Granny M, wow is what I say too. What a great quilt, and what a good job you did.
wow - this is really something! Lots of work, but well worth it!
Thank you everyone. This piece went rather fast. I stitched it on a Singer 15-91 believe it or not and it handled it like a dream considering all the detail. It was so much fun to do!
I'm amazed at the depth and beauty of your thread painting. I would love to try that sometime. Lori you have such wonderful talent, the eye of a true artiste!
Really really cool :) It's so unique! I love this :)
