I had a friend who had lost two family members in a short time to cancer and I wanted to make something for her to let her know they were watching over her.  I found this pattern on Fat Cat's and thought it was perfect for her.  It is sad to loose a family member to cancer but two in a very short time (year and a half of each other) was heart breaking.  I never met Tammy but have known her threw swaps online and we just became friends, she made such a huge impression on me that I wanted her to know I was thinking of her too.  This was my way of doing that.

The sentiment and the quilt are equally beautiful. Love it!

My hopes were to make her feel better and let her know that they were up there watching over her.

What a wonderful way to put you feelings into an artistic creation.  Its a beautiful thought with lots of love folded into it's batting.  Thank you for sharing it with us.
