I made this quilt in 2 weeks using Debbie Maddy's pattern using HSTs.  There are approximately 450 HSTs.  I loved making it and will make one for our Quilt Show next year.

Beautiful. And the border really sets it off, too.

I  can't believe you did this in 2 weeks.  I want to make a lone star but just have not gotten brave enough to try it.  This is beautiful

I've never seen a lone star done like that, it turned out beautiful. And I love the border!

As many of you know I ADORE Lone Stars and have made many. I use Jan Krentz's technique and you don't have to cut a single diamond shape!

Thank you all for your lovely comments.  I really enjoyed making the quilt using the HST technique.
