I was afraid these daisies would be too bold for a baby quilt, but I love it! I had planned to fussy cut the big daisies and sash with black, but when I found this stripy green I changed my mind. I am glad I did. It is incredibly bright, but some baby girl is going to like it.

I am posting this even before I bind it because I wanted to show it to all my Fear No More friends: it is my first project that is quilted using my brand new FREE MOTION skills! Wahooooo!

It's great! I love the bright colors. What a great gift, some little girl is going to be very happy with it.

what a joy for some little one to sleep and play on and under.  Me too where in quilting world did you come up with such fabric.  Is it readily available?

Very nice work on both the quilt top and your FM quilting!

Catherine and Northumberlandquilter: I found the Crazy Daisy fabric at Wal-Mart, believe it or not! I'm not sure, but I think I saw it at Jo-Ann's too, but it was cheaper at Wal-Mart. The green stripy fabric I found at Jo-Ann's.

Marge, Aren't you proud of me for doing FM?! I know it isn't perfect, but at least I am on my way! Yay!

You go girl! I love bright colors. I'm slowly collecting 1930's prints for some future quilt. I'm new so it's going to take me awhile. I LOVE the colors. Happy Happy

Prairie Crafter: I love 1930s prints, too. I recently rediscovered the Waltons and I am amazed that I am studying the prints used on the clothing on that show. I think I never noticed before because they were not so clear; HD makes all the difference.
