I am using 100% 1930 reproduction cotton prints. I used the Qccuquilt to cut out the hexagons and have sewn them together by hand.  46 more to go!

I love this pattern! Isn't hand work just so relaxing?

Very nice. I am trying to summon the courage to start mine. I am going to do it with a scrappy 1930's look. I plan on a queen bed size, but since I am doing it by hand, it might end up as a trivet. We'll see.

I stumbled across your Grandmother's Garden quilt today by coincidence. Also by coincidence, I stumbled across my own hand-pieced WIP Grandmother's Garden quilt two days ago. I'm using 1.5-inch octagons in pink, yellow and  burgundy "flowers" with medium green "paths." I'm piecing it while watching old TV shows on my laptop. I'd forgotten how satisfying (and relatively quick) hand piecing can be. I'd love to see the finished quilt. Mine is maybe half done.
