This quilt originally started out as the Over the River pattern, but I ran out of time to finish the Redwork embroidery by hand.  I quickly made some adjustments and did some machine embroidery of flowers that my sister-in-law loves and placed those machine embroidered blocks in place of the redwork embroidery that would have been originally on the quilt.  This was a Christmas present in 2009 and I am happy to say the recipient was very happy with her gift!  I hope to some day make the actual Over the River pattern, I have worked on the Redwork embroidery off and on and will finish it eventually.  It's one of those things that just hangs out in my sewing room for those days when I have nothing better to do!  LOL
