Dear Mother-in-law Quilt - year long embroidery project

I made this as part of a class and then made it even bigger with the pieced border.   This quilt taught me the many things I can do with my embroidery machine.   I did applique work, made lace, pin tucks, used a twin needle, 3 dimensional flowers and butterflies, and finally is was quilt as you go.
