Pattern from the November/December 1997 issue called Christmas Cactus designed by Carol Dawson. This quilt was the Canyon Quilt Guild of San Diego 2005 Opportunity Quilt. I coordinated the making of this by about ten members of our guild. Over 4,500 tickets were sold all over southern California. Fortunately I was lucky enough to win the wall quilt that was made for the member who sold the most tickets! Quilt was finished sometime in the Fall 2004 with the winner selected September 19, 2005. The Opportunity Quilt finished at 81" x 96" and the Wall Quilt at 51" x 51". The Wall Quilt is part of my annual Christmas decorations.
