Pattern from Quiltmaker Magazine November/December 1999 issue called Whacky Whales designed by Doreen Speckmann.  This pattern was chosen for the 2004 Healthy Living Expo held at my company.  The quilt raised funds for the American Cancer Society and was won by Thena.  It was an entry at the 2004 San Diego County Fair.  It was finished in June 2004.  It measures 40" x 40".
