Pattern from Quiltmaker Magazine in four parts; July/August 2002, September/October 2002, November/December 2002, and January/February 2003 called America the Beautiful designed by Caroline Reardon.  This quilt was made as a 2003 fundraiser for Post #221 American Legion Auxilary; Avenue, Maryland.  Sue and Melissa helped with the making.  Quilt was won by Cindy and raised $946.  Sue quilted it.  It was finished in April 2003.  It measures 45" x 61".

Sandi, I love all your quilts.  The details, colors.  A quilt top with lots of pieces is so much more interesting.  Looking at them is like opening a box to a celebration, versus getting a simple card.  Like music that makes me want to dance versus back ground dinner music.  Thanks for sharing.

I love it!  I like the colors, the theme, and especially the eagles!
