Mystery quilt from Chicago

It took me a long time to finish this quilt as the colors are out of my comfort zone and I wasn't excited about it... but I finished it - I actually enlarged the pattern made 2 more rows on each side.  The block made from this quilt could be put together in many different ways and you got totally different looks - I love this around the world look so instead of leaving the design hanging I did the 2 more rows on each side and it works for me.  I put the simple borders on it from left over material.

Althea it turned out great.I finished mine the other day just have to bind (yuck) and finis.

the colors are a lot brighter then this picture shows - Darlene can tell you - she saw it in chicago - it is bright enough that you could use sunglasses...teehee... and they do go together - truly wish though that I had stuck with my blues as I think it is a neat looking quilt.  can't wait to see yours Darlene.

have enjoyed reading your posts and really enjoyed your quilts.  Although your colors on this quilt may be not your favorite, you constructed a beautiful quilt.
