I blew it with the 2010 Texas State Fair, and my crib-sized entry was not the precise entry size. I perhaps used a contemporary sizing, whilst an agricultural fair that reaches back into the 1800"s might have a more timeless standard size for babies' blankets.
THIS year, for my 2011 entry, I may use this block as the centrre of a crib quilt, and design adorable farm animals to surround it. Still pondering .... all feedback is welcome.
