Lone Star for backing on Double Wedding Ring Quilt

I bagan playing with scrap strips and playing with various angles to trim and assemble.  Within a short time, I realized I was headed in the direction of the famous Lone Star pattern.  Piecing everything together without an actual pattern was frustrating.  But with effort I managed to get it all sewn together.  I am very pleased with the final result.  Scrappy quilts are so satisfying.

I love scrappy quilts and yours is beautiful.  For not having a plan to start with you sure pulled together a beautiful quilt.  I bet you really understand how to work with 60 degree diamonds now, huh?

Wow double wedding ring on the front and lone star on the back.  You certainly enjoy a challenge!  Nice scrappy quilt.
