This is only my second quilt I've ever made.  This one was super easy and fast.  I modified it from a pattern I found in a Fat Quarter Book that was called the Teddy Bear Quilt.  I used flannel I already had on hand with Winnie the Pooh print and some plain pink flannel as well.  Squares are 6 1/2 inces.  I simply sewed two pieces together with an X across the middle, pieced it all together and clipped the edges.  After washing and drying it frayed nicely.  I had a lot of fun doing this fast and easy one.

This quilt will go to a friend's baby girl, named Grace, in Mae Win, Thailand.  My friend's name is May.  She is Karen tribe.  I already have the pieces cut out to make another one for her older daughter, Blessing.  It will have the same pink squares, but have Disney princesses in place of the Pooh squares.  May runs a girl's home in Thailand with 12 girls in the home, plus her own three biological children.

Very nice.  I liked your comments about your friend May.  The world needs more people like her.
