Stunning quilt.  This has always been one of my favorite patterns.  I used to have one of these that my grandmother made.   It disappeared when I was still a child...probably wore out.

Beautiful!  I have one in progress but I'm real slow.  How long did this take?

Hi Karen Woodhull, I worked on the quilt for 2 1/2 months.  I had to add 2 rows of 7/8th inch hexagons, then quilt it and then I also did the shaped binding. I am really happy with the way that it turned out..

I am glad you liked it!

Beautiful quilt.  I love this pattern.  I started a GMFG in December and probably won't have it finished until next December.  I am trying to get one "flower" finished per day but that doesn't always happen since I have 3 other quilts I am trying to get finished and one in the frame.  How flowers did you have to make?

I adore the older patterns - soothing. Reminds me of some of my grandmothers quilts. We don't see many of these anymore. Thanks so much for sharing.
