I bought this as a kit, and I had less than an inch of fabric left for the outside border, so I had to stretch it just a bit, and now of course.....it won't lie flat. Do you think a high loft batting would help with that? Make it poofy enough to not look weird when quilted?

Can't answer your question for you but it is a pretty quilt.  I hope you can solve your dilema!

I think you would be better off to undo the outside border, replace the corners with a corner block of something else, then stitch it back together.  It is too beautiful to have bumpy like that, and I don't think you will ever be satisfied otherwise.

It's Lovely. Do you have enough of the solid blu to ad strips to your borders and 'stretch' them a bit? I'm not sure highloft batting would fill in the balloon all that well.

it is very pretty.  it will be easier to redo the border than fight with the poofy spot.

you asked about the price for the Ellisimo.  well I am asking 4650.00 + s/h and it comes as it was when new with all the items plus some extras.  Check out babylock.com and get all the info about what this machine can do it includes the latest update.  Thanks for asking.
