Irish dance dress - back

This is where I learned how to satin stitch appliques!  This is the back of the Irish dance dress that I made for my daughter back in 2004.  It took hours and hours and hours to make.  The dress is very heavy and stiff (intentionally).  The cape is removable and is attached with heavy-duty velcro.

Thank you!  I was planning to make more dresses for other dancers we knew, but after all the struggles I had to make this dress, I never made another one!  :-D
