This is a tote I made for the local Health Dept. each year they auction a quilt to raise funds for free or low-cost breast and cervical exams for low income women in our area. This year they had area school children (boy/girl scouts and 4-H) make 9 patch blocks which a semi-LQS assembled into a top and quilted. They had 13 left-over blocks and since they didn't want anyone to be left out they decided the quilt needed a tote to match... and I got a phone call. It was quite a challenge to make it work. I used the last little block to make an inside pocket.
