This is a design by Amy Bradley (pattern title, "Mona").  I made the small quilt into a 12"x16" pillow for my artist friend, who loves cats.  The fused appliqued pieces were blanket stitched and the design details were done with a satin stitch.

Thanks, everyone!  Amy Bradley has a whole quilt of Kitty City Cats and the patterns are available individually too.  She has a police cat and a doctor, an aviator, a farmer, and a birdwatcher.  They are all just adorable.
