This was for my nephew's birthday. It's a slightly oversized twin quilt. The center is a fleece panel and the borders cotton blend. (After thought says that might not have been the best choice, but this was only my second attempt) I only used a single layer of batting on the border based on the thickness of the fleece. I then quilted the border with hand stitched fireworks. I had a lot of fun with this one, but again, more knowledge would have produced a much better quilt.
