Carpenter's Star quilt by designer Debbie Maddy of Calico Carriage Quilt Designs. I started this quilt in July 2009 at the Quiltfest in Jonesborough, TN. I finished it at home that summer. To quilt it, I did a stitch-in-the-ditch in the center and a stipple around the border. I'm still not comfortable with my free motion quilting talents to do any kind of fancy quilting.
