This is month July of a Block of the Month pattern called "By Wisdom a House is Built in the Country", by Indygo Junction, Inc.  The pattern designer is Sarah Sporrer.  I've done January-July and am almost done with August.  I haven't tea stained this one as of yet.  when I get all of the blocks done, I'll stitch them together for a big wall hanging.  I love folk art and primitive style quilts.  This is done with raw edge machine applique and embroidery.  I use fusible under the pieces to keep them in place while I machine stitch around them.  I hand quilted it.  There isn't much quilting on this, which is why I hand quilted it to keep its primitive look.   The pattern includes the Bible verse annotation, but I didn't include that.  This is very easy to do and lots of fun.
