Coneflower Thread Play/Painting

I learned how to do thread play/painting at the Quiltfest in Jonesborough this past summer.  The teacher was Melinda Bula.  This was the pattern we did in class.  The butterfly in the upper right corner (the yellow one) is actually my own pattern that I added.

I had to do a close up to appreciate all the detail in this. You are very talented and your butterfly pattern is wonderful.
