I loved this quilt pattern the moment I saw it in the "40 Fabulous Quick-Cut Quilts" by Evelyn Sloppy.  The original quilt was made by Sharon Pennal in 2004.  I adapted the pattern for 2 smaller quilts and made one for my cousin Chris whom I love as much as my sisters.  The other I made for myself.  Whenever either of us sees or uses our own quilt we think of one another and while we aren't able to spend a lot of time together physically these quilts are a way to keep our thoughts connected heart to heart .
