Sunrise over the Orient

This is a wallhanging I made when I first started quilting.   It used a technique where you cut a hole in your focus fabric and then placed your secondary fabric behind it.   Since this was made very early in my quilting career there are numerous mistakes but I still like the overall effect.

Very interesting technique Nana.  Mistakes??? What mistakes???? ;o)  don't you know you are not supposed to say that.  You INTENDED for it to come out that way.
