This is a round robin quilt, I did the center of the quilt and passed it on to my aunt Connie to finish. The name sake, James Bevins has been passed from father to son for 300 years almost every generation had some one named James Bevins I found that fascinating and it stopped with my aunt Connie's son. I found a book that tells  where and how the names lost or gained letter in there translation when they boarded the boats to come to America. Thanks for letting me share my searches for information with you! I really love quilting and this site is so very nice to share with all of you. Please feel free to tell me if you like it or not.

I love it, and so interesting to research the name and to find out so many interesting facts.  Kudos to you.
