This is my latest project. I learned on the 3rd that I'm gonna be an almost aunty in just a few weeks (Communication is optional in this family...). I dug through my stash and found some sweet daisy-print flannel, along with a nice pink mottle print and a soft yellow to match. My 10 degree wedge ruler sure came in handy for making the medalians! The quilt is all flannel,(both front and back) so it's ultra snuggly, altho perhaps a bit heavy. I spray basted the pieces in place and quilted it at the same time I appliqued them down in order to save time. If I had it to do over again, I think I'd add a 2" border of the daisy print, but this will have to due, since I didn't have much time to plan it.
