For my second quilt I worked on this Cathedral Window quilt.  It is entirely hand pieced and was worked on during my daughter's 30-day hospital stay for heart surgery.

Made in 1993-1994.

I think hand stitching projects are the stuff of healing. Somthing to take with you to keep occupied while waiting. That's also why they are so beautiful - made with a lot of love!
