My mother was 92 this past June and we went to Michigan to visit her in August. I had made the lap quilt for her several years before but had not gotten a picture of her with it. She is virtually blind, having both glaucoma and macular degeneration, but at the time when I made it and mailed it to her (she was living in Illinois at the time) I think she was still able to see the pattern and colors.
