T-Shirt quilt for friends' daughter

My husband's best high school friend's daughter played basketball and golf in high school and college. She had a lot of t-shirts and had mentioned to her mother that she'd like a quilt. At the 45 year class reunion her mother was talking about it and I told her I'd find out how it is done and let her know. Soon I had a box of t-shirts delivered to my front door. She came to our town and we went shopping for sashing fabric. She had already put the shirts in order for the layout. I went to work on it, made the top, had it machine quilted and we delivered it to their home. The next time they went to visit her in Colorado, they took it along as surprise present. You can tell how happy she is!
