Judy Iliff sent me this pattern and I love it - I finally have the top done and will start quilting it soon!

Thea - I blew it up to get a really good look at this. Beautiful work!! There are some mighty tiny pieces in there.
Thank you Marge, yes I think maybe 1/4" is the smallest - it was the same for the other McKenna Ryan quilt I did... sometimes you satin stitch a piece and all you see is the thread... I try hard to let the fabric show though...
Beautiful Beautiful Thea, I love it.

What a work of art, this is truly beautiful, gorgeous. I love it. You really did an outstanding job. WOWIE. Marlene
I am about 2/3s done with the quilting but ran out of energy today - think I worked on it for about 7 hours - before and after Christmas dinner... just doing a simple meandering in and out and about the appliques.
Althea this quilt is amazing. Just beautiful work.
Althea, your quilt is beautiful. I saw the quilt in a shop in Jackson, WY while on vacation in September, but they did not have a complete set of the pattern. I ordered it from McKenna Ryan's web site, but haven't started yet. It might have to go at the top of my list for 2011 after seeing your's. Did you machine applique it? I plan on doing needle turn.
Althea, i just answered my question about machine applique. I thought the pieces might be too small, but maybe I'll try that too, I just usally hand applique. Your work is beautiful, especially with all the pointed pieces!
I have not seen this pattern. I love it. It is so much fun and such a journey. Great Job.
Breathtaking! I am intimidated by this pattern, and think you have mastered it well ~
