Pittsburgh Tools quilted wallhanging

This is a quilt that I made for my husband.  The fabrics are in the black/gold colors of the pro sports teams in Pittsburgh and the one fabric has tools on it.  I also quilted it on my longarm using a tools pantograph. (It was hanging a bit crooked on my ironing board when I took the photo so the right side is slouching a bit.)

The quilt design is an EQ7 layout, Stars-15.  I didn't realize at the time that I was playing around with the design how tricky it was going to be to piece it - lots of Y seams and odd intersections...

Love this quilt - I live right near Pittsburgh - lots of black/gold around here!  Your husband will love it!

Thanks, everyone!  I gave it to my husband last night.  I had intended to give it to him for our 29th anniversary last Sunday, but I didn't get it finished in time.  And yes, he loves it!

Patti I love the pattern you used.  It is so dimensional.  Beautiful quilt. Great job.

What a lucky man. You did a great job. Very different. Only shows that something different can also be great.
