This is a tree skirt for a friend that is a Vikings fan. She bought a purple Christmas tree last year so this should go with it perfectly.
I love this. Never thought of making a tree skirt out of snowballs. I believe that is what your pattern is.
Jeanine really neat treeskirt pattern. I love it.
jeanine, this is so cool
Really cool looking.
I like the uniqueness of the color and the shape.
Is there a pattern for this tree skirt? Or, can you tell me what size the blocks are? I've been looking for a tree skirt to make & I really like yours. I'm thinking I might replace the snowballs with pinwheels with the colors of the lights I use on the tree.
This is fantastic, and would work with so many types of fabrics!
Just one question though, where does one get a PURPLE tree!!!!?????
Jeanine - I am just finishing the binding on my tree skirt kit! It looks great! I lost the instructions and I'm glad I did it right!
Kelly - this was a kit from Connecting Threads last year, my daughter got it for me for Christmas.
One gets a purple tree at the Nebraska City Apple Festival...apparently.
It's beautiful! I love purple too, but prefer my trees a traditional green.
that is nice
I don't put a tree skirt under my tree any more--ever since it managed to get into the water pan and soaked up the water. It wicked the water onto my rosewood coffee table and did a lot of damage.
Jeanine's skirt is, indeed, very attractive. Mostly, I wanted to comment as her name and mine are the same--and spell the right way!!! There aren't too many of us out there, I think.
Merry Christmas to everyone.
I'm a great Viqueen fan in Florida, originally from the Twin Cities. I love that tree skirt pattern but I would really like to make it for table center. I could use it longer. Thanks so much for sharing it.
This would make a great skirt for Texas Christain (TCU) fans. My daughter decorated a tree in purple/silver in their honor this year!
What a neat tree skirt Jeanine.
