This bed quilt is 106" X 120" to give us a pillow tuck and an extra long drop on a tall queen bed. It's made with about 10 different batiks and was machine quilted fern pattern by Gina Sue of Precision Quilting in Elizabethtown, KY. It is the half-square triangle Friendship Star pattern with 17 pieces per block, 42 12" blocks in the center medallion and 60 6" blocks in the borders. Truly a labor of love!

The batik fabrics are beautiful; I like how the stars look in these colors.

A gorgeous quilt.  I love the idea of the extra "drop" so I wouldn't lose the quilt when Hubby turns over.  :o)
