This King size quilt was my very first attempt at quilting. That was all it took, I was hooked.
very nice! You did a great job on your first quilt!
that is a pretty impressive first quilt
A King!!? On your first try!?? I'm impressed. I haven't gotten that brave yet. Beautiful quilt!
Great job Shellie.
Beautiful work! It's a shame it'll be ruined when the cars drive over it! LOL
Not brave CC, naive would be a better word, or maybe just plain stupid. It was a real bear to quilt on a cheap sewing machine with a 5" throat! But since I seem to be a glutten for punishment this is where the addiction started.
Beautiful quilt, love the design.
What an undertaking for a first quilt. Great job. Very impressed it was done on a domestic machine, given the size. Congratulations!
Shellie lovely quilt! You were brave as CC said. Great labor of love! What do the symbols mean if you don't mind my asking?
Marie, the symbols when put together were supposed to mean something about a "tiger sleeping under the lilies", or something like that. Unfortunately I reversed the order so they mean something else entirely but that's what he got for expecting me to remember that they were supposed to be read from right to left.
Kudos to you on your first quilt. Very nice job!!
Great job! It's the feeling of accomplishment and the desire for the biggest stash that keeps us going. And an original king size quilt quilted with a 5" throat is quite an accomplishment.Congrats!
Very nice first quilt!!! How brave of you to tackle something with all of those corners to match up!
