I found this easy pattern in Fons & Porter's Easy Quilts Summer 2008, I did make it larger.  I first saw the fabric on the cover of McCalls quilt magazine Feb 2008. It is pieced with true blue on white batiks. I pieced and quilted it on my Bernina 450. I made the quilt for my Father's 80th birthday. He lives in central Ohio where it gets very cold in January and February. My sisters didn't believe I made the quilt at first, they said it looked to perfect. I really didn't think it looked even close to perfect. No matter, Dad loves the quilt and it does help keep him warm on cold Ohio nights.
